I think it totally depends on the child. My now 2 year old didn't start teething till he was over 10 months old, but I've certainly heard of children teething much much earlier. It's just totally different with every child. I've heard, although I don't know if it's true, that children that develop teeth later will have stronger teeth... Who knows?

My daughter just turned 3 months old last Monday and she has already started teething!!! We were told though that they might not push all the way thru since she is still so little so we'll see. Most of my friends kids started teething around 6-10 months though.

My first two children teethed really early. it was like 4-6 months of age. I have been wondering when my now 7 month old will start getting her teeth. i keep checking to see if she's getting any, but there's no signs of teeth coming in at all. i don't know what's taking so long for them to come in.

Yes, I think it's normal, my daughter was the same. She started teething at 3 months old, she got her two top ones, and then a month later her two bottom ones. They always seemed to come in twos, but the teething never really bothered her, just the first time. Now she is two years old and almost has all of her teeth! =D
