How is your home decorated? / myLot

I'm looking for some ideas on how to decorate my flat. I really like modern furniture and colors, do you know of a nice website or would you like to share your decorating tips?

i will never decorate my house.. its not a museum to kept it clean and neat i will spread my books here and there and it all looks like this.. i will keep my house like that....

if that's what you think! but i think you can still decorate your home and use what you like .. books etc if you don't like being neat.

i have a little childre and the onlyu decoration in my hayse is the toys :)

I would rather choose soft colours for walls like yellows and light beiges. It helps a lot to give the rooms look like the lights are on. As for furniture I also prefer natural colours. My taste may be a little too simple but when I chose pink or green or any other colour I just had to stick to that particular colour where the soft furnishings are involved. When you paint walls or have furniture of natural colours you can be very creative with the soft furnishings.
