Do you believe in soulmates. Like one person out there for everyone. Or is it like that one person who understands you the best, like an extension of yourself whether it's guy, gal....lover/friend....
I think they exist to what extent I'm not sure...how bout you?

i belueve there is someone there for each one of us in this world but we usually don't take the time or chance to wait or look for him,and we content with what we already have..sometimes u have to risk to win..that works in life too

I believe in soulmates very much. I thought I don't think it is limited to one person for everyone though. Because my last boyfriend was my soulmate. Then we broke up. I know we will always have that connection. Now I am with someone else and I really think he is my soulmate cause we are always thinking the same things. Like I will be thinking something and right before I go to say it, he says it. It's been happening a lot lately.

I don't think it's one person for everyone either, and I don't think it has to be like a lover. I think your friends or family could be soulmates too.

I donlt know about there being one for every one of us but I certainly have mine. My best friend is my soul mate. We do so much together and we are always there for each other. We both seem to have problems getting other people to understand us but we can understand each other even when we aren't making sense. We find we like most of the same things. We often seem to be watching the same things on tv and will text each other when something is funny. The best example os when we were oth watching Braniac:Science Abuse last week. Richard Hammond said "...even Germans" which we both thought was funny, I was about to text my friend and he texted me the exact same thing just as I started typing! That sort of stuff happens a lot with us. So yes, I think he is like an extension of me in some ways. We are very much alike in a lot of ways. I think I am closer to him than I am to my partner. (I think my partner is kind of glad that my best friend is gay!)
Saying all that, I am sure there are people who haven't yet found their soulmate. So I don't know if they exist for every person but yes they can exist for some people.

Well I agree with you that our best friends can be soulmates but I do think that each person has one somewhere. It's like said person is the extention of ourselves and actually I believe we can have more than one.

I believe this concept of soulmates is purely fanciful garbage. It's a form of delusional, hopelessly optimistic 'thinking' that has about as much validity as believing in Santa Claus.

yes I believe there is someone out there for every person. It takes time to find your soulmate I thought I married mine but I was wrong but now we are split up and I haven't been this happy in a long time but yes I believe there is! And one day i will find mine and he will be the man I want to spend the rest of my life with and love him and he will love me as I am! God Bless and Good luck to all!

I don't know... But if there is only ONE person out there for everyone, what happens if this one person is staying on the other side of the globe and you will never have a chance to meet him or her?

well with soul-mates you'll cross paths but like someone said we hardly take the time out to realize that's who they are.
