I think that taxi drivers are the most appauling service giver there is around South Africa. The other day on my way to work, I got on with elderly couple tjhat had a six year old little girl. First of all when they asked for the taxi they wanted to reach their destination they were refered to three wrong places until they got to the one they needed. Then after that they were told to pay for the little girl as weel though she was sitting on top of the granny's lap. The taxi driver said that they had to pay for the kid beceuse she is over three years old. Ok, I understand the fact that she is over three but isn't taxi fare for the seat you are sitting on? Shame the old pepole tried to explian that they were taking the child to her parents and the fare they had was for a single trip for the two of them only so they can get there child to her parents and after that her parents are the once who are going to give them the money to go back home. You know what the driver said? He said that is not his problem .Tell me what would he had done if that was her own child and parents? The guy had no mercy towards the couple, he actually forced them to get off on a deseted place. I had to take out money and pay for the child for them just to get the little girl home. The Taxi's drivers of this day and age are disrespectful and they don't have a heart towards their elderly. What do you think of the local taxi drivers around your place? Are the goo, bad or just normal. What is your view about this issue?
