Alot of the younger generation including myself i am only 22, dont look to religion anymore they look more towards drinking and partying. Years ago everyone would go to church or chapel and pray, they would also go sunday school and church vets but that does not happen anymore.
It is the same at christmas everyone has lost the real meaning and it is all about how many presents you receive instead of celebrating being with your family and enjoying eating dinner with them and enjoying it.
I think gradually the churches will get smaller and smaller as no one seems to be taking interest in them anymore.

Hello, im from the Phils as well but now living here in the UK. You know what im really surprised to see the churches or chapels here converted into houses or flats. I dont know whats going on but maybe, im not talking in general but it could be that generation at the moment is more into the social aspect in their lives compared to the religious side. More partying than having the interest to goto the church.

because of the people nature changes from one generation to another one... so they think that they need some entertainment after the heavy work in the office or business. so they are going to the clubs and entertain themselves.. so they forget to pray and going to churches..
