My favorite topics are the same. That is they include - Algebra, Number theory and calculus too. Geometry is good too. :)

for me, it has to be number theory . there are many reasons for it. you dont really need prior knowledge in it, its all about pure intelligence. and thats the real reason i love maths olympiad so much. you dont need knowledge, only intelligence. and thats what maths is all about in the end - the domain of human knowledge that is 100% accurate, and to get it, you only need to build on axioms!
