My wife doesn't like trying new things if she is the one that has to prepare it so one of my specialties is Nachos with salsa, lettuce and refried beans.
First, I make a salsa that is as simple as it gets.
What ever portion you have of tomatoes you can use half that amount of green and red peppers and half that of onions and half of that in hot peppers.
Example:
4 cups of tomatoes
2 cups of green or red peppers or both
1 cup of onions
1/2 cup of hot peppers. (of course this is to taste)
Chop everything into quarter inch cubes or smaller if you like.
Prepare your platter by putting your Nachos in a nice even layer for great coverage.
I then cover the nachos with refried beans (if you don't like them leave them out)
Next I heat the platter until the refried beans are nice and hot.
Next comes some shredded lettuce, then that salsa and some sour cream and your good for the game. Sharing is good. :)
