Whats happening to Shilpa Shetty in the Big Borther house is really a tragedy but it reflects the attitude of most brits to people of other races especially Indians. I have come in contact with a few brits and have often been referred to as pakee, Its funny that while we're progressing so much, the brits (at least most of them) haven't progressed in their approach to life. My Venezuelan friend went through a similar experience and we're both of the opinion that the brits have no respect. I hope Shilpa Shetty doesn't have to go through any more of the crap she has already been through.

I dont think UK is a country of racial discrimination, there r many good and bad ppl in every country.... so we dont have to judge the country by the action of one person.

I agree with what your saying however this is not just an opinion that i've garnered based on Shilpa Shetty's situation in the Big Brother house but my interaction with every brit. I'm sure there are good ones. But majority are not. Have you worked in a BPO which deals with UK clients, the amount of racials slurs you have to hear is unbelievable and the best part is no one can do anything about it.
