as it portrayed a solution of a prob. through violence n it's restricted 2 a specific region.it's ending was not scripted properly.it displays the solu. of a prob. in an extreme manner.

I dont think so only bcoz of songs rang de basanti lost out..songs of rang de basanti was superb..everyone love it

oscars chair persons & peoples outside india didnot like songs in the movie .

well i guess the only reason rdb wasnt selected cuz it cudnt strike a chord with the jury the way it did witht he indian population
