what do you do about "THE ANNOYING GUY" at work?

Most of these annoying guys are attention seekers. They think they are special and if they continue to perform the way they are already doing, they would grab attention and praise. So what's the solution? Simple. Stop paying attention to their deeds and they would mend their ways. They would realize that the system doesn't accept their style of functioning. Also by not paying attention you are actually keeping yourself away from the mental tension and in a way keeping your cool. Try to divert your attention to something else and keep on working as usual.
