Mobile phones can never overtake PCs in gaming as the experience of gaming on Desktop pcs is no match with PDA's and mobiles.

Surely mobiles are going to bring a much bigger revolution than computers. Experts say that much of the Third World population would actually get introduced to internet through mobiles than the computers. Infact many of Indian experts (like Rajesh Jain - www.emergic.org) are in the favour of Government supplying mobiles at village level with the facility to use internet.
They feel that apart from being much cheaper than computers, they can be a great resource tool for villagers and can actually help spread useful information.
At the high end mobile level too people have nowadays started prefering PDA enabled phones to laptops. At the other end the size of the laptops is also reducing and you find the 12 inch laptop to be the new standard in laptops (from the earlier 14/15 models).

i don't think all people is interesting in using their mobile phones as their own personal computers. i have a nokia N73 and my phone has such features like that of a computer, i can browse the internet, chat, i can do video streaming, i can edit photos on it's adobe photoshop, it has microsoft windows, too and acrobat reader.
but i still find comfort using the computer than the phone. the keyboard is more comfortable than using the phone's keypads. plus the screen is much larger.

Now a days it is atechnology age, and things change at a very short time.So we can say in future days computer may vanish and mobile will become common. Also now a days people are thinking of placing a microchip in our body itself, so no need of mobile even.In todays environment anything can happen.
