Where should be ganguly batting?

ganguly should open.he is the best in that place.

i will say 3 or 4 bcoz, he will come to understand whats the opposite team captain want to be from his team i mean through balling or batting or tthe both and also he can know the bolling way of the each team member

opening than only he can hit his favorite shot on offside and inside out shots

Given his current form and the way he batted in yesterday's cricket match, I would definitely want him to open in the future matches also. I guess he has regained his lost form after losing his captaincy. I would like to see more of him batting like this more in the coming series and the cricket world cup in 2007 in west indies.

i think it will be better if he opens the batting,as he with sachin make wonderful pair..what do you say?

GAnguly should be opening the batting with Sachin Tendulkar or coming in the 4th down to strengthen the middle order due to the lack of Yuvraj Singh. He is very experienced and can handle any situation depending on the opening batsmen. Or it wouls also be to open innings as he is an left handed batsman, which makes an advantage.

well ganguly is in god touch and he is looking confident too. yesterday's knock will really boost his confidence. There is no question of his batting order. He is the most successful opening Batsman in the Indian Team. So he should be opening the Indian Innings with his confident On derives. I just love the way he plays. Sorry i got little bit emotional. :)

What doubt in this. He should be an opener. In last day's match we see his cofidence in his face. This shows he is back into form.

in my view he should be in 2 second place as the pace gets ove if the opening batsmen give a little standing ....as gangully is not good to open the match at this point

NO OPEANING OR 2DOWN.....FIRT LET HIM PROVE HIMSELF IN THE DOMESTIC CRICKET AND THEN COME OUT TO BAT IN THE NATIONAL LEVEL....NOT ONLY TO HIM...TO ALL OTHER CRICKETERS OUUTA FORM...FIRST LET THEM PLAY IN RANJI TROPHIES AND THEN COME INTO THE TEAM AGAIN....

I dont think he deerve a place in indian cricket team. he was removed because of his poor performances. But now he is recalled because of all the political pressure on the selectors. This is ridiculous. Of course everyone will say that now he has scored 98 against the Windies, that he is back to form. I think his reapprearance will be a waste of an experiment in the long run.

Ganguly is an agressive player so its good if he comes as an opener.

Ganguly is a class player who has been neglected by few Indian cricket heads claiming themselves all of everything of cricket but Sourav has proved his presence time to time by playing super knocks back again.He has not only cleared his way toWorld cup bot balso morally boosted his team mates with his wonderful efforts.In my point of view i think he is a perfect batsman for the opening position bcause India certainly needs a good start to show a positive attitude in World cup and we must not forget he was the captain whose captaincy tasted us the final of the last World cup so India must take a solid with Ganguly in opening position afterall he is the Bengal's Royal bengal tiger.
