When do you decide to go to the doctor?

In my country, people go to the doctor when it's already an emergency because of costs... what about you guys?

I only go when I have no other choice. I do not have any insurance and paying everything out of pocket gets expensive very quickly. Even routine exams can end up costing a fortune, especially if they want any blood work done. So until I am near deaths door I don't go.

I only go to the doctor if i have to ,it cost to much and getting insurence for myself would be a waste of money since i rarely go.
