I have a scratch on the bodywork of my car, whats the best way to cover it up?

I heard of touch paints, but dont they blotch? I also heard of a polish, if this is the best method then where can I get it from and how much does it cost? Its a brand new car, and is black in colour. there are two scratches, one on the passenger door about 50cm and the other on the bonnet (hood). My car was towed away last week and when I went to getit back I saw these two scratches.
