Why should we pay upfront for the Health care services that we utilize from the Caregivers? Can our Health Care Insurance provider meet our treatment costs. This system is already in practice throughout the world. And now in India it has started spreading.

Hi, in United states, every citizen above 65 years of age need not pay money upfront for the medical treatments and consultations he/she take from the doctors/hospitals. The US government has two major Federal Health Insurance Plans (Medicare and Medicaid), while the first one serves the citizens above 65 years and the second one serves the poor and needy people whose income level is below the Federal poverty level. Whomever is enrolled in these plans will be given Id cards which the plan members can use when they go for a medical consultation. The doctors in turn would give treatment without any money being paid. They will inturn claim the cost of treatment from the Medicare/Medicaid plans. This is a fantastic plans that the US Federal government has for its citizens. We are from India and we do not have such plans from the government. Why not the Indian government implement these plans to help our people?
