Of course. People should know that in 100 years or so, the earth will be in doom like the great deluge. So people should take care of the environment so that the ozone layer could slowly be repaired. Do you agree?

Well..In the beginning of everything,when people started to develop some of the technology that we use,and some of the other things that we used,like pcbs,and cfc's,and stuff like that,people back then did not know how bad it hurt the Greenhouse affect,and how bad it hurt the Ozone layer that we have,so they we're not concerned with it,until they discovered later on in the years,that it did hurt the environment,and then people tried to do some stuff about it,but still it still hurts the environment somewhat today,because it takes a whole lot of time to break down something like that,and we cannot change the past that we have done to the environment that we have,and alot of the Ozone Layer now days is depleted because of some of the things we had A long time ago,and some of the technologies that we have today,and some people are worried about what could happen to the environment,but most of the majority is not,because they think they will not be around,when there is to much heat,to many gases in the air,the polar ice caps get to hot to stay frozen,it melts,and alot of the rivers,and everything that we have become polluted,the USA floods,and goes under water,and alot of people just do not care,But then there are some people out there like myself that actually do care,and then some people today are like me,and try to help the environment,and as soon as we find out something is hurting the environment,then some people will actually try to help the environment,and stop it,and another thing that people should be concerned about,is with all the technology that people are building that help cause heat affects,also destroy animal habitats,and that is why alot of percent of animals are now gone,and now scientist think that 99 percent of what we used to have in the begging,is now gone,and extinct,so no most people do not care about it,because alot of them no they will proably not be here when it happens.

I had started a same thread earlier also in this regard. I think a very high no. of global population know about it. But while the question of actively doing something on it comes may be 1-2% actually do it. If you are said that switch off your AC/Refrigerators now, who will listen to that. I think only a govenment ruling with it's strict implementation can do some good.
