Are you kidding- I don't just celebrate my birth day I celebrate my birth month, everytime I go somewhere during my birthday month I tell people "it's my birthday" and people give me stuff and buy me free drinks .... it's great.
My mother is 80 and still celebrating- we just had a huge party for her last year.
Birthdays are a chance to celebrate life.. enjoy them .. celebrate them ... you only go around once... before I die I want to have as much fun as possible and when I die I want people to say - she really enjoyed life!
