Going to California for a Week / myLot

I am going to California for a week...well more like 10 days to see my sister. I know its not as warm as it usually is right now But I am just aat a stand still on what to pack and how much to pack. Everyone tells me its better to over pack then under pack. But I am the kind of person that will pack a month for a weekend. what do suggest i do to aviod bringing my whole house with me

well if you are going to visit your sister, you should be able to do laundry there so you do not have to take your whole wardrobe.
