is it necessary to give the credit card number for getting money paid by paypal

If you dont give the credit card number how can you expect to be paid by paypal

I am also in the same dilemma.I also do not have a credit card and it is still showing unverified account and I am also having the same probelm.I do not have any idea about it and am thinking how to get it.

you don't have to give your cret card but you nead a bank account to get one

they only ask for it so you can have a verified account. paypal is safe to give the credit card info to though. paypal is secure and you can be sure of it by looking in the address bar(those with 'https' are secured) -- when it shows the 's' after 'http', then it is a secure connection.but you can withdraw upto $150 with unverified!

have u not read guidlines dear where u will found that "We called PayPal and they tell us you do not need a credit card to open an account or receive funds. They did say that in order to withdraw the money to your bank you would have to link you bank account."

I too have the same doubt. But I remember in mylot that paypal doesn’t require credit cards. I have also not entered my credit card number. I guess they will link to the bank account for further transactions Cheers, Nithya

I think it's enough to give them your account no. But it's different what they need depending on the country where you live

I have and my a question if have account paypal.I from the which countries by-pathes finded out the their list can tu take out money through visa card?

No need just give other informations and cancel the credit card details.I did it with credit card details.The main use of credit card in paypal is to tranfer amount in ur paypal account to credit card when it reaches $150 in ur paypal account.So it is not necessary

It's necessary to give your credit card number for getting money.But you should make sure the credit card is no much cash for the safe of your credit cards!
