What do you think about the abducted Missouri boy being on Oprah?

It seems a little odd to me to have the boy on Oprah when he has only been home for a few days and hasn't even discussed what happened to him with his parents. It seems to me that the parents first concern should be taking care of the kid that has been missing for four years, rather than exploiting him on Oprah. What do you think?

I had heard something about that. You are right. If he was my child I wouldn't want him all over the tv doing interveiws at the moment. I would think it be too soon for it. The child needs to decompress with all that had happend to him and to do it all on tv a few days after being reunited with the family in my opninon is wrong. The boy should see a shrink before doing all that.

I agree with you. I was wondering if the parents got money for being on the show, and maybe they needed the money to afford all the therapy he will need in the years to come. Honestly, if they needed it and Oprah really wanted to be the good person she professes to be, she should have just given them the money for the therapy and maybe years from now, when the boy is more stable, he could be on her show.
