Daughters 18th Birthday!!

My oldest daughter is turning legal (kinda) 18 years old in 4 days. Any ideas on what I can do for her? I would like it to be something real nice cause even on sweet sixteen birthday we didn't do much...no party. Of course we are on a budget but I want it to be special for her. Any thoughts or advice?

She is not (Kinda) legal she is legal there is too things you could do for her either let her have a really cool cell phone but then again your budget is low. Next is get her a really cute set guinea pig and put him in a nice cage with a litter box tell her she is entering maturity and this guinea pig would teach her how to be responsible and be close to her to keep her company.

There are no gifts in terms of materialistic values that can be given so someone of the age of 18. If there was one, she would have asked from you that by now. Make her day by giving her quality time. Be with her, take her out to her favourite restaurant, go to a place she has gone when she was very young and she enjoyed it with you - revivie her memories. Freak out with her as if you are her friend and not a parent. Let her loose to allow her to convey her emotions and confess to you. Make her feel like a grown up and give her that degree of freedom. You will make it a memorable birthday for her.
