Does everyone in here discriminate against ppl from India ? If yes.. WHY ?

You are right, and I respect that you posted this. I apologize, because I did respond in a recent discussion about the last "wave" of cheaters and spammers here at MyLot all being from India. I, for one, do not mean to generalize and say that everyone from India (or any other country, for that matter) is cheating the system. Although this last group were all Indians, the next group could be from the U.S.- we have our share of cheaters, too. You're right that we should base our opinions on an individual's performance, and not extrapolate that to the entire nation. Thank you for this gentle reminder to all of us that we need to "play nice in the sandbox together" and not generalize. I appreciate that you said this in such a pleasant manner! It shows class.

As far as I am concerned the proof is in the pudding. You have a good rating and anyone can look at your previous posts to see what kind of writing you do. People tend to create unfair stereotypes quite often. Think about it, all white people are not rednecks, all Jewish people are not rich and stingy, and all black people do not collect welfare and eat fried chicken. You are just dealing with small minded individuals here honey. Don't let it get you down.

One of my good friends is Indian, and people that are around him always laugh and tease him about his beliefs and poor country background. I had nothing against Indians until one Indian employer attempted to cheat me out of my earnings...

It does not matter to me where people are from. I have many friends on my list who are also from India. Cheaters and spammers can be from anywhere, not just India. I try to not make a issue out of where people are from. I look at their profiles mainly because I am nosey.lol.

Am not sure. I have noticed alot of the emails seem to be based from India are the ones seeking money is some shape or form. I however deal with them individually. It is a shame that a few bad apples make it bad for everyone in this case. Sorry to hear it and hoping you continue to stand strong!

I for one dont discriminate against people from India, but i do let them have it when they tend to bash the USA and its people...and yet they have no problem with taking American money from sites like mylot. Ive heard of many scamming the site and a few others but im sure thats from a lot of different countries.

I have mylot friends from all over India and I do not face any problem. We admire each other. I donot encourage anyone who brings forth such problems because it is not in existence. It is either imagination or small mindedness. If you still feel people are discriminating,then just ignore and proceed.

I do not discriminate anyone at all. Yes there are a few in here that can be nasty and that are cheating and they are mainly from India (please offence) but it does not mean that I am against all People from India. I am not a Person to discriminate or Judge. If I was I would not be entertaining other Countries either as there are other Countries that are doing the same Thing including the UK. It just seems to be more from India for some unknown reason, but it does not mean that I do not like People from India because I do. And if I deny anyone from India it is only because I have no interest in their Profile but that goes for other Countries to, not just India. Today I denied someone from the UK, as there was no Discussion in their Profile that Interested me. And when you asked I liked what I saw and I accepted you. You are a very nice Person Simply so do not let the nasty People run you down. I hope I have explained myself her without upsetting anyone as I did not want to upset anyone. So if I have please forgive me it was not my Intention.

I can't agree with you that most Spammers are from India or Undeveloped countries. You must realise mostly people from developed countries involved in Online business or intenet jobs and the most Spammers are from these countries. I normally get 150-175 spam e-mails from people of these countries.

I have not really heard anything about this, but that is horrible!!! You are right, people shouldn't descriminate the whole country based on one or two people doing the wrong thing that is horrible and unfair. But that is they way most people are, close minded, and too fast to poit the finger and put everyone in a majority, not as individuals as they are. So sorry that this happends to all of the great people from India. I am from the USA, but think that many of the discussions that I respond to are indeed from India, and I think they are great!!!

I allways treat all the people I speak with equally. It doesnt metter from where the person came from if he is a nice person. People who discriminate other people can't call themself humans. Thats what I think.

I do not discriminate people from India as I am likewise from Asia. I agree discrimination should be person based not country based. In our country, there are a lot of people here from India. there are a limited few that I can get along with, most of the time, those people thinks (or act like) they are far more better than Filipinos. Discrimination has been a disease that everyone is trying to cure. But, in reality, discrimination happens not just among races but even within the community we live in. If not, then why it it very hard to get along with a fellow schoolmate, officemate or neighbor?

well this is nice. really. at least the issue is not being taken lying down. good. but seriously, i don't think the discrimination (lately) has been conscious or with that particular intention. i think it's just chanced that lately a lot of 'india this, india that' seems to have come up. just making things clear, with a firm, rational response ought to set things straight. but im happy that this has been brought into notice. maybe people will be careful just looking at this. unless everything i just concluded is wrong and it WAS intentional.

i havent really seen anyone discriminating anyone on this site so cannt say much. however i do think that people complain too much on this site about how others treat them.im new here so dont know much but overall i have really fun here.hope u will continue enjoying and just ignore those who upset u.dont let them get to u.

I've no problem against people from India. I don't discriminate myself so can't understand the way some people think. At least there are posters like you on here proving their ideas wrong..:)

no. i dont think so. i dont think this is true. there could be some arguments but i never did see that most discriminate indians only.

no i dont discriminate against anyone. that's wrong that people say things like spammers come from india. which isn't even close because spammers can come from anywhere. i have many friends here on mylot from india and other countries as well.

I hate to hear that! They must be player hating! I have not seen people doing it yet but I I see It I will have to comment on it. The people I talk to from India on mylot are very cool! And some of the beautiful women I have seen on mylot from India has me ready to pack my bags and move there!!!!!

I completely agree with you... It's not fair to generalize people by their community. Criminals / Cheaters are all over the world. An individual's ill act can't make the whole community / country responsible .. as no Country/Nation inspires anyone to get indulge in any anti social act.

i seriously anone who hates the other based on the color of their skin or from their back ground.all are human beings and all are the same.people who harass others because of their back groun should be punished.i am totally against racism.we are all brothers even if not by blood.
