Ok, what is up with people who start these off the wall discussions?? be truthful. is it just to get more money?? most people on here, like me, want to talk about REAL things, not made up things just to get an extra penny. Think about what you post before you do it and please try and use correct ENGLISH. When i see a post that makes NO SENSE, or tons of words are left out, i dont even bother to finish reading it or respond to it. im sure some of you will leave rude remarks, go right ahead, im all open.

On the flip side of this..perhaps you could respond to the poorly written, bad grammar discussions, by simply writing what they TRIED to say correctly..deciphering so to speak? You are accomplishing many things at once..getting your point across to them, teaching them the correct way to say it, posting a longer response, thus earning more points! But also, I am sure some of what WE write looks funny to those that use English as their second language.

Hey Amber (that's my name too). I think people are just doing it for the money. It's insane! I think mylot shouldn't even pay for these horrible postings. People have "responded" to my postings and it's obvious they haven't even read them.

I understand and/ or speak 5 languages besides my mother tongue. ANd maybe sometimes I do not use the right word in the right order, or I do not use the right tense, or maybe I miss the words.
But it is only one language. Please think about it.
I wonder which languages do you use perfectly besides english. I also wonder if you know other countries and cultures besides usa. Have you ever been besides USA? Have you ever used other nations' languages?

I only speak english and when I meet someone who speaks a different language I just shout louder!

Dolcerina, you definitely have a great point. I think Americans have it pretty easy because English is taught, usually, manditorally, in other countries. We, almost, expect people to speak to us in our native language.

I agree, I can't stand to read something where that person has mispelled everything that try to write, that is annoying, and like you i too want to read things that make sense or talk about things that are meaningful! ugh!!!

Hi Amber,
As for me, I am here to read discussion regardless how silly or how awesome they are and make comments when I feel like doing one!
I am here to make money out of myLot because I am pretty sure myLot also makes money out of my efforts or things what I put in here.
When I don't fancy a discussion, It's fine by me. I wouldn't disrespect the poster. As that goes with me own discussion as well. When they don't fancy mine, I go back to my original idea.
Me making money out of myLot; and myLot making money out of me.
YES! The feeling is mutual. LOL

It would be nice to have real discussions on some of the discussions that have been started. Instead, I see mostly meaningless little responses that look like they are only there to see if a few more pennies can be added to their mylot.com earnings. However, my strategy to give longer, meaningful replies doesn't seem to accomplish much, so perhaps I should give short replies with bad grammar and terrible spelling!
