Darwin's theory seems logical in my eyes and seems to explain alot of questions. But I'm Christian and I'm sure many of you have heard how we believe God created everythin in 7 days. I want to have faith in my religion. Does believing in Darwin's theory make me faithless?

let me ask you a question,if you throw nuts and bolts off a cliff for years;what would you have at the bottom of that cliff???not a new car!!people who believe that we came from mud,are not right.if that were true, then why aren't we still evolving into super-humans or something else crazy.put your trust in jesus and what the bible says, its god breathed.

Misslag, that's such a bad analogy, a straw man argument if ever there was one. Why; evolution does not claim that by mixing together a bunch of chemicals you get a human. But there are documented cases of evolution, the Pepper Moth is one such. Direct uncontravertable evidence of evolutionary change. All the best urban

Hi, I am also a Christian and I don't see any problem believing in evolution as well. Actually, the bible says God made everything in 6 days and on the 7th day he rested, remember? But it also says; "...that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. So, you are not supposed to take the 6 days literally. Stop and think for a moment, a day is the period of time the earth revolves around its axis. Therefore, no earth, no day. all the best urban

Well, what do YOU think? I think nobody else can tell it for you whether you are faithless or not, it's only you. Religious belief is a personal matter, nobody has a right to tell you what should you think in such a question. By the way, Darwin's theory doesn't explain almost anything for me - and Darwin himself couldn't anwer the question of how did it all start? How did the FIRST living being come about? I also can't think with that it just "happened", that out of lifeless material, there was suddenly a living creature. There is no rational explanation of this in the evolution theory. But of course, if you want to believe in Darwin's theory, that's up to you, and if it also fits to your Christian faith - that's also up to you. Your faith is yours :-)
