complex? What can I do to avoid this? My 2 kids who are 9 and 6 seem to be suffering somehow. My son can be a big headache... no matter what we do he lies and never admits to anything. While my 6 year is sort of shy. When she's with me she says she doesn't like her dad but when she's with her dad she doesn't want to come back home to me... or am I just thinking too much into this?

With so many kids with a single parent how can it be an inferiority thing. I think that you have to set some rules down and be the parent. You may have been a friend until now. You Are the Parent!!! You might enlist the help of grandparents however you need to have a good talk with those kids. You need to be in this together and that means no lying. Boys/guys just seem prone to lying. I am glad I homeschooled since I had more control over their influences, yours has the school full of kids from all around and many kinds of parents and backgrounds. You can have quality time with your kids even if you don't have a quantity of time. Lying should never be tolerated.

Yes, naturally they develops inferiority complex, due to the communication gap from the lone parent. Whether the parent she or he, the boy/girl suffer affection treatment comparing to the others of their age.
