Just wondering if anyone thought it was possible that Snape may actually be good in the end? That maybe it was an agreement between him and Dumbledore with the whole ending of book 6, to keep him from being outed as a spy to Voldemort? Any thoughts on this?

I think that he's one of the good guys after all.Why would dumbledore trust snape in the first place if he's one of the bad guys.I agree with your thoughts on the ending of book 6. He even told harry that he can't win with him until he's going to learn to block his mind.I think that it was an advise.

your point had actually crossed my mind many times before when i was listening to the book 6 (audio book!)
why? as mentioned above he always seems to give Harry some advise though it may seem rude or whatnot to others. and remember what they say about dumbledore? the most powerful wizard of their time won't be trusting anyone if he isn't an ally. and i really think that it's just a setup to lure valdemort into a sense of security.
and also remember on book 3 when harry did not allow wormtail to be killed by sirius black and prof. lupin. dumbledore said that wizards tend to have a sense of gratitude when you do something to them (well something to that matter. hehe) and remember that snape was saved by harry's father when they were still students at hogwarts and it would be snape's repayment to james potter when he helps harry.

I do think that Snape has some redeeming qualities. He would have to for Dumbledore to trust him all those years. J.K. Rowling has sort of made him come off as irredeemable though, but I think that in real life there would be more to someone like Snape than meets the eye.

I am still believe that Snape is good guy ^^ I am still sure he is in Hogwart's side and not Voldemort's side.. I think he will be the hero in the book number 7.. why? because I am so love him that I can't say that he is bad guy lol

I think snape is good....many clues point that out dumbledore seemed least concerned when harry told him abt the conversation between malfoy and snape also he pleaded to get snape when he arrived at hogwarts after getting back from the cave with the fake horcrux....it seems it was indeed at the request of dumbledore that snape killed him...the reasons i dont know(maybe to save malfoy) and JKR is always good at throwing new twists...it can only be seen in the 7th book

I dont think snape is bad, I think him and Dumbledore both made up something so it could help defeat Voldermort, if you remember them talking in secret in the 6th book.

nope i dont think so think snape just had dumbledore fooled amd that yet again when people should of listened to harry they didnt its one of the best things bout harry potter tho if dumbledore hadnt of trusted snape the last book would of be alot more boring and not had a good twist like the others before but i wouldnt be suprised if snape dont get killed by harry tho in last book.
