Have you ever trained a cat to walk?

Hi there again...both my cats are leash trained to go on outdoor excursions since we live in a busy city near a major highway. well,to be honest i never tried to train my cat to walk with me...but why do you want your cat to walk with you? Do you want to take her to a walk,just like people do with dogs? anyway,it's an interesting idea....let me know if you succed in training your cat :)

You need to do it on a harness and when they are young. That is how my friend did it with her Siamese. But, you must be very careful that your cat never runs outside, once she is used to it. They don't always come, like a dog will.

i failed to train my cat to walk together with me..but it enough for me when each time i call her name or using the word 'come, don't, run,sit' she give a good action toward this words..

Yes, I use a harness, and it takes a couple of days. Never pull on the harness but entice the cat to walk by holding something in front of it to go for. (like dangling a carrot in front of a horse).
