i do shopping online, it happended with me that my CC got used by fraud, but still i didn't stop shopping online. online shopping is the most convenient shopping experience ever. you have a huge selectiom of products, you have a huge variation of prices, you may get some real good deal. so online shopping has several hundreds of advantages.
this is true that there is a problem of CC fraud. in that case you need to know how to use CC and need to be bit careful. you should not use your CC in any unrecomended online store. it is always better to shop from well know e-commerce store.

paypal is not accepted in all online stores. so that is the one drawback of using paypal. just use your CC info carefully. and if you see your CC got stolen, just report the bank immediately. police generally trck the CC fraud case by IP they used to use your CC in online. so 99% cases they caught and got punished.

I shop online all the time, nothing has ever happened with my credit card but i reccommend using paypal if you are worried about that. I like shopping online because there are alot of things that are online that aren't in the stores or different sales online

I don't shop on line for many reasons. One of them is the check fraud that I am afraid like hell. Then, I shopped once and the item purchased wasn't what I expected and they didn't accept my return although I had the receipt and I was within the days supposed to return the item.

i shop on ebay. that way you don't use your CC directly and you don't use your bank account directly. you use paypal which is must safer. also some sites use paypal too so you can shop there as well.

I usually don't worry about that happening. I think that it's more likely to happen if you give your card number over the phone, especially to a take-out restaurant. Who knows who you are talking to and is taking your information?
But I check my accounts online all the time, so I would know if someone is using it who is not authorized. Then I can dispute the charges and have them dropped.
Paypal is a good alternative, though, and I hear you can get a special number for your CC for shopping online, too.

I do shop online all the time. Most of my Christmas shopping is done online. I also do my business shopping online. I find it so much esier to have items sent to me. No traffic or line hassles. I am very careful using my cards.

I like shopping online too! Some companies even off free shipping so you can find some really good deals. As a suggestion, I saw this posted the other day somewhere on here, use a gift visa. If you plan on buying x amount of dollars load the card with enough to cover your purchases. I don't know what their recovery policy would be if it was lost or stolen.

i shop online at times, i do get scared of someone tries to get my debit card. if they steal it you are protected and the cc company isnt gonna make you pay the money back.

Aside from the doublt of having billed for unknown purchases... I feel that its too expensive shopping online as you also need to pay for the shiping costs......
