How can i help my brother?

My brother and his girlfriend just lost a baby. She was 8 weeks pregnant and had a miscarriage. My brother is really upset about it. They have a daughter who was born with 1/2 a heart. Shes doing fine now but when they thought they were going to lose her my brother took it very heard. And now i dont no what to say to him, i know that anything i say will not change the fact that they just lost a baby. My brother and I are very close and i just want him to stop blaming himself. He says that it has to be his fault that they lost this baby and that his daughter was born with 1/2 a heart, and none of that is true but how do i get him to understand that?
