I don't see why you couldn't be friends with someone with HIV. I feel really sorry for people with the disease because so many people are afraid to go near them. It's very sad. I mean, look at all the people with AIDS in Africa. I'm sure they would have a lot more help if people would just get their facts straight and learn how they can and cannot catch the disease. There is nothing wrong with being friends with someone with HIV at all!

hi,generally there is no need to have aseperate friendship.If oppurtunity come to work with AIDS patients from a reputated organisation,i am ready to work with them ans as a part of job,i can move as friend.I know all the details about AIDS.

I could and it is possible that all of us have someone in our lives that may be already in that state. Hopefully the relationship would be strong enough that the information could be shared freely! Do you have such a person in your life that you know of?

Of course, There is no difference as far as people. In fact most people encounter HIV+ people in everyday life and don't know it. Believe me there are people that are out there that are far more dangerous than people who are HIV+. I believe that you should choose your friends based on who they are, not their medical conditions.
