What is the meaning of those colored stars which denote our ratings?

star depicts the use as well as the quality of the post the user has done. it mainly describes the quality aspect and it changes according to the way u post on mylot, if u increase at the brisk pace then the star rating improves and if u do this at a slow pace then it decreases. so keep posting and improve ur stars!!!!

The star rating a user recived denotes his reputation in this community. It means that if you receive a high star rating mylot sees you as a reputable user, this will also mean that you have contributed quality topics and responses to this community. You will receive a star rating after reaching 100 points. The number inside the star if fixed to the color it represents.

The star is the star rating in mylot. The number of the star depend on how much quality of your responses. The higher the star number, thats means the higher quality of response you had been post. It will change whenever you get rating + or - from other user and it can change whenever you are marked as best response.

one gets a star rating after reaching 100 posts.if your post/discussion get positive rate(+) you will get star rating .stars rate the quantity and quality of your post.star color changes per rate (+/-)...if your post or discussion get more (-) rating you star number will decress... respectively.

The star is the rating you have been give in mylot. When the first introduced them they sent out some info about it. Here is the link to it: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/573319.aspx The stars rate the quantity and quality of your posts as mentioned earlier. Also you won't get a star till you have 100 posts. The ratings are supposed to be from the mylot community not the admin. I am not sure how they accomplish that though. I think it is based on whether or not your response is rated positive or negative. But do people really go in and plus or minus all the responses to their discussions? I am sure being flagged as best responses help too.
