Chandler is my favorite character. I also like Rachel because I can relate to her. I cant stand Phoebe, i really cant believe somebody is as dumb as she is. The same with Joey...is there somebody as dumb as him? Russ is just a sucker and one of those "good guys that always end last". Good thing they made him a winner at the end. He is too whiney for me and I dont think he could ever in real life end up wiht somebody like Rachel. I love Monica with all her neoroticisms, she is real, i think. Many people are like her.

Chandler is cute, Rachel also acts stupid sometimes but otherwise she is very smart (not in friends otherwise). Monica is the most smartest girl among all the three women

I absolutely love Friends! Joey is my all-time favorite, he can always make me laugh. My other favorite would be Chandler, but that's just because I love his saracstic wit.

I have seen every episode at least three times. I either own, or have easy access to all the seasons on DVD.

I agree so much about Ross. I absolutely hate his character. I find he tries to act a lot smarter then he actually is.

I think Chandler was the funniest by far, but Phoebe's randomness was always good for a laugh. Rachel and Ross annoyed me, and I liked Monica, except the writers made her so controlling!

Honestly in my opinion Ross has to be the best and funniest character on Friends for me, followed by Monica. I really enjoy those two because out of all the characters, they are the ones I can most identify with and they seem like they could be actual people. They seem to be the least fake characters as well. Every time they get in a mess or have something crazy happen to them, they react in a very real way.
In terms of Ross I like him because he's a big nerd who's lovable and just trying to find his share of happiness. He's gone through so many bad relationships I feel I can totally identify with the problems he's faced.
I still think the episode where Ross is dating the dirty girl is one of the funniest. When Ross and her were making out on the couch and he pulled out the lunchmeat and then the chocolaty goop got stuck to his hand I could not stop laughing.
Another one that showcased his ability to get himself into some pretty crazy situations was the episode where he made the new year's resolution to do something different every day. It was the leather pants day and when I saw him on the phone with Joey trying to figure out how the hell to get the pants back on, it was pretty funny. When he poured lotion and powder and it made a paste and he freaked out I laughed pretty hard.
Ross always had a certain knack for getting himself in the worst of situations but at the same time somehow getting out of them with his dignity a little bruised. He is always entertaining to watch no matter what problems he has encountered. I find he jokes about it afterwards and takes the jabs from Chandler and Joey all in stride.
I like Monica from Friends as well. I find I can identify with her and her struggles she's had to go through in her life. If there was any characters on that show that I could see myself getting along with the best it would be the Monica & Ross Gellar.
In conclusion, I think Ross and Monica are the funniest and most entertaining characters on Friends. If I had any two characters to hang out with, it would have to be those two.
Thanks for allowing me to share! xx

Thats great friend, you remember the episodes also so well, you are a true friend fan thats why I have marked your response as the best. I too like Monica because she has to listen so much from her parents. That is so natural. Thanks a lot for your response.
