Craving some Mac N Cheese..

Ok so yes..I'm 20 weeks pregnant..and I'm craving some Mac n Cheese. My FAVORITE WAY to eat Mac N Cheese (even when I'm NOT pregnant), is to put some ketchup on the top of it. Only while its still steaming hot though! Everybody looks at me like im crazy (not so much now that I'm pregnant lol, I can get away with it)...and my husband gags! He wont even sit next to me while I'm eating it. Do you have any weird ways that you eat your mac n cheese, or anything that you combine it with?!

I have tried a number of ways and still try different ones now and the,
1 I cook hamburger and put that in with the mac & cheese.
2 I will add a different spice with each one I make,sometimes garlic powder,or chili powder.
3 Add cheriso sausage in with it.
and I use the ketchup when it is cold and just warm it in the mic.

I use onion powder and garlic powder on EVERYTHING...drives my son and husband nuts. I wondered about putting some of those Hillshire Farms cheddar sausage links in there, and chop it up. I'm always looking for new easy snack foods too. Those Easy Mac cups were the best invention EVER!

Well first of all congrats on being pregnant with a little blessing on the way. Oh I too am definitely a ketchup lover - and yes it's got to be Heinz - my hubby says he will never understand how I can put ketchup on so many foods!! But here in our house - we like our Mac & Cheese spicy so I usually either add a can of Diced Rotel or Salsa and mix it up really well!!!

ohh i might have to try that one! That sounds really good too...maybe i'll try it while the hubby is TDY,then he wont have to smell it lol

I know a few people who eat ketchup on their mac and cheese all the time. My sister does it every time she eats it. I personally don't think its too bad, but I prefer mine plain. What I really like is stewed tomatoes ontop of macaroni, now that is AWESOME.
Its hard though because stewed tomatoes arent common and the only person I know tha tmakes them is my grandma.

im not into mac and cheez,.. i hate the taste..
a regular burger for me is ok..
i dont used to crave on burger but with chicken,spag and fries i do.. my bestfriend would always loaugh big time after i'v eaten all of them coz of the left over that is all over my mouth, lips and lower face..
a kiddie manner..=)
