I mostly use natural fertilizers like vemicompost, neem cake, and manure for my plants, which i add whenever required. But for flowering plants like roses and dhalias i used rose mix which is a combined mixture of phosphates, nitrates and other minor elements required.

I try to keep enough compost going that I don't need to add any other fertilizer. I just mix compost into the soil before planting anything.

I just built a raised garden, and filled it with topsoil. I like to enrich with compost that I make from my vegetable scraps. Sometimes you end up with surprise volunteers. I will use commercial peat, and manure. Mostly I am just low maintenance. I will use epsom salts with each tomato plant.
