There was a time in ours lives that scared us so deeply. This is about time to think about if they are going to make the draft able to be admitted. If the draft came a long how would you be affected? I would afriad myself only b/c I have a little brother about to true 18 and he is going to be a part of this DRAFT thing. How do you about it?

In rare cases the draft is necessary, but this is not one of those. But if were to be instated it would scare me alittel, becasue I don't want to leave my wife and kids to go and fight in Iraq, nor do I want either of my brothers to have to. But if we were in a world war it would be different I suppose. I don't think, and I pray that I'm rigt, that we are very near a world war,so I don't think we'll see adraft anytime soon.

A draft will not be happening anytime soon. Yet at the same the military really needds more people. Especially the Army. The Army has wonderful benefits for people that want to join. Much better that they offered even five years ago. Plus the media is making it look alot worse than it actually is. i am not saying the war is all fun and games but i also know it's not as bad as the mediad is making it out to be. My fiance` served 13 months in Iraq and lost one person from his unit. It's infortunate that even one solider had to die but it's not as bad as the media tries to make it out to be. I have a 14 year old son and an 8 year old daughter that could join when they get older. Although i would worry if they were be deployed i would not discouge them in joing the military.

As long as it doesn't come. We will be okay. Military doesn't scare me. But to be told you have to go and fight is what does.

I think I would be proud to be representing my country and that we are active members of it
We should not just call males either we should call all eligible members of society
I think we should all understand the price we have to pay for our freedoms not complain about the price

if the Draft gets inacted, then nothing much will change.
Not for me here in the U.S. anyway. I'm not complying with the damned Real ID act either, when it happens.
Yeah, it'll mean breaking the law, but if they didn't want to break their laws which take away our rights, which do the opposite of ensure some sort of fairness and morality to our country..then they shouldn't have made them and passed them. I don't care what kind of excuses they come up with, right is right and wrong is wrong. No matter how unpopular right is, and how popular wrong is at the time.
Since men and women can both be in the army here, the Draft will include girls too. So, yeah. It does apply to me and most of my friends too.
*sigh*
