This seems to happen alot to me. When ever I help some one, I get help when I need. When I behave badly with some one, I get similar kind of treatment from some one else. I feel quite some times that god is punishing or rewarding us now a days immediately. What do you feel

We reap what we sow, but reaping is not always soon after sowing. If we do anything, we do that to God, and God will recompense. If we do something good, we should not expect that others will do good to us. Doing good should come from the heart and it should be enough that we feel happy with what good we are doing.
Before I became a Christian, I didn't know about God but I kept on helping people as I felt I should; I didn't even feel happy for I was hard up helping but I couldn't resist helping so I did not feel happy and yet I had that all mine to give attitude. Then I was converted and have known the Word of God. I believe that my pure heart was considered by God and called me and I am now a servant of God.

Nope. That never happens to me. Whenever I help someone, I get clobbered. I give change to a person on the street, next thing you know I need that change. Nobody's willing to spare me some change. I usually joke that it's life's way of showing me that I must turn to EVIL and unleash my vengeance upon the world! *evil laughter*
Seriously. That karmic retribution stuff isn't doing anything for me!

I believe in karma, which really is the same sort of thing, what goes around comes around. I see it all the time at work, if someone does something bad, for example, talks about others behind their backs and causes unnecessary trouble for the other person, then something always happens and they get their come-uppance. I also see the opposite happening, someone is really helpful or kind to someone and later on that week they get some really good news. I've also experienced both personally. It's fascinating to sit back and watch it all unfold.

I think it's more a psycological thing. If you believe that since you were nice to someone that something good will happen to you and something good, no matter how minor, does happen to you, you'll blame that point of thinking. Thus, re-inforce your belief.
