If smoking kills, why not stop its production?

You answered your own discussion. It's big
money all around. Not only in revenue to the
government but to the pockets of many other
influential people and corporations. Think
about the different industries that would be
disrupted if there were no more smokers.
Like I and you said, big money.

maybe. but i think it is quite a big decision since it affect many people (since more and more people start smoking!). to approve the law to stop production needs majority among politicians,etc..and since most of this people also smoke,do you think they will be comfortable supporting this?..hehe i think not!
i'm starting to feel like smoking is considered by many people just like eating chocolate, just a normal thing you put in your mouth...'sigh' what a weird world we live in.
