How can you prepare yourself mentally and physically to sleep less

I always find myself sleeping all the time,infact I sleep about 18 hours a day,some of my friends tell me that I make up for the entire world for sleeping in a year,cumulatively,How do I tackle this problem?...I'd greatly appreciate it,if anyone can tell me how to crack stress and sleep less.

I think its going to be a case of willpower.
Also you should be looking at your diet. Are you always tired? Or you just like to sleep?
If you're always tired perhaps you need a healthier diet with more low GI foods.
Also like I said in the first line, you'll just have to teach yourself to sleep less. Try to decrease the amount of sleep you have each week until you're down to 8hrs.

I'm always tired,it's maybe because Iam very much used to sleeping all the time and I also like sleeping a lot,Iam easily carried away by fantasies,can't help it:(
I need a way to motivate myself to stay awake,I donno how

even i'am facing the same problem yaar! but now mylot has created another problem for me....lack of sleep! i have started another habit where i keep myself awake at night and dose off in the morning! i know things will be like this for a few years but it's not good for health. i sleep for around 16 hours on most days but sometimes i keep myself awake in the night and then do not sleep for the whole day. At first i thought i was the only one with this problem but later came to know that everyone is bearing the influence of the internet!
