If you want a Video CD (some DVD players can play these) than you can use Nero or Pinnacle to burn them. So long as you have a CD burner in your computer.

For copying the movies,
1) If you need to make video DVD or CD then you need Nero Burning Software which is Free with any CD/DVD writer.
Or if you are having any movie files with any other video formats, then you need video converters, one of them is WinAVI video converter. And then write using Nero.
2) If you need them to just copy, then burn (write) them as Data CD/DVD for further use using Nero or even the Windows XP inbuilt CD burner.
Thanks, have a nice day.

First off, you'll need a CRW drive ( a DVDRW if you'll burn it into a DVD). Then install a CD/DVD writing software such as Nero. It is pretty easy to burn movies onto CDs/DVDs using Ahead Hero. =)
