Get my discussions noticed

I am posting discussions from my interests as mylot suggested, but some of them are not getting noticed. I wrote a very lengthy one about the new airport regulations that I thought people would find interesting. I was either very wrong, or it is a bad category. I did however forget to put a question in it. I got so excited writing about my ordeal that I sent it without asking about other people's flying experiences.

Are you having problems getting people to notice your discussions? What can I do to get more traffic?

Some of my discussion get a lot response and some of them that I really find it interesting have zero responde. Sometimes there is a lot of people on MYlot and a lot of new topic. We can't answer to all and we can't see them all also.
I don't think there is a way to be notice more.
