Yes, some black people are still treated rather poorly in the United States but even the Japanese have forgiven us for bombing their cities only, what 50 years ago? And I know because I lived there for 4 years! So why can't black people realize there is nothing they can do now about being taken away from Africa and just go on with life?
What I'm saying is many poor black youths still think they have no opportunities in the States and they use racism as a scapegoat. What you don't hear about is how badly some black people treat white people, especially in the South. Those people are hypocrites. I've been treated like cr@ap many times here in South Carolina and I want to scream, "I was raised in New York! My family didn't have slaves and I never even thought about color until I moved down here! Thank you and have an awesome day!"
I'm sorry but if black and white children have the same teachers in one school and the black SAT scores, reading level and general grades suck compared to their white classmates than the only ones you can blame are the parents. You can go here to see what I mean:

The only reason black people are still treated differently is because they want to be treated differently in many cases (I'm talking about the people who say they are disadvantaged why the white folks). They still think they are owed something by society and when they bring negative attention to themselves, what do they expect?? I'm like get over it already and live your life to the fullest!

How much time have you spent in America in your 16 years? How many black, white or other races do you know? You are from Canada, speak to us about something you know about. Everywhere people form groups and cliques. I take offense at people who condemn entire nations and races based on limited or no experience.
