Do you like House for his Ability and knowledge or for his personality?

House is unique. He is distinct from other doctors in the show because of his personality and behavior towards medical practice. Everybody knows House' personality was some what more inclined on the negative side. Through this he got distinction and recognition with other doctors in the show. This help him gain more fame and popularity. Also House has an exceptional mastery and knowledge in medical surgery as seen on the show. This really made House a wise and a witty doctor. Both if his knowledge and behavior made him a doctor liked by his audience. House rocks.

House has the outstanding ability to diagnose the rarest diseases, but I think what really makes House popular is his personality. He's funny and stubborn and completely insensitive and arrogant, because he knows he's always right.

Yes, he really is stubborn and really insensitive which made him do things which are somewhat funny. This is also one thing which draw audience's attention to him. This made him popular in some way too. Thanks. Keep rockin' teenwitch14.

Agree!! Though he is very sarcastic, but the sarcasm is what makes him interesting. It's funny at the same time :)

Yup, i like seeing and watching House on the TV doing his deeds on other persons/patients. But if ever i would have that kind of docter, i don't know what exactly would I feel but surely I would get annoyed and irritated by him. thanks. keep rocking guyz...\m/

In answer to the question, both. I love intelligence, but I also like his personality. There's something to be said for someone who isn't too concerned with being polite that he won't say what he thinks. And, he's funny, he's dedicated, and when he's not getting his kicks from shocking or annoying people, he can be very caring in his own way. Although he doesn't usually let people see that.

i like him coz of his doctor that never give up hope. although he kinda crazy bit. he he. he always list out all kind of possibilities. i think this is good. even we work. we must have our own plan and possibilities or ways to cope with problems. think positive! :)

House is a very optimistic doctor(in some ways). He find answers from problems even though it looks difficult to solve. He draw all his energy and knowledge to find answers to some questions whithout thinking that there are people he is stepping to.

I think it is a combination of both. House wouldn't be so much liked if he didn't have the deep knowledge on medicine that he has, he'll be totally overlooked like just yet another sarcastic fellow who think he's above the others. I must say that the sarcasm factor and intelligent way he handle his conversations do play a whole lot as a part of his own success within the audience and the show though, so it's really a combination of both rather than one of those alone.

I agree that House possess both mastery in his chosen field and his "weirdo", frank, but interesting approach towards his work and his patients. House really has a unique personality which we can find on a little number of doctors/persons only. keep rockin guyz...\m/

Geniuses are usually eccentric aren't they? I love House more for his ability and knowledge, but then without his constant sarcasm, he wouldn't be House! So sure, I love his personality too! This is what helps him get his point across to his patients, some who are ummmm......not very smart........in trying to figure out what should be done.

House is very addicting because I am just waiting for him to royaly screw up but he never does and his work ethic honestly sucks but that is what makes it so good I am addicted to it completly

Yes, he does thing out of what is ethically right. But this is one thing that made him an interesting character in the show. The things he does which is unethical gave him more knowledge on the field which he is working on. This helps him became a more reliable but doutful doctor*laugh*. But House is one doctor that has stored an encyclopedia in his brain due to the things he had studied in his own little dirty ways. Thanks. Keep rockin' cuddlybeans.

I'm not a doctor but i am a nurse and let me tell you there are times i want to talk to my patients the same way house does! You just want to go "you are an idiot...." but we can't. I have found that there are quite a few of us in the medical field that LOVE this show, and i think alot of it has to do with, House gets to say and do what we wish we could each and everyday at work!

House is really a unique doctor and he can do what he exactly want to do. He doesn't think of its implications on the mental and social aspects of the person he is talking to. keep rocking guys. \m/
