The weather has been crazy this year, hasn't it? The experts seem to think we, the people, can control it. I don't know how.
Here's my question: What has the weather been like where you are compared to what it is usually like this time of year?
We had a warm December and part of January with no snow. By warm I mean in the high 60's Farenheit. Usually we have snow on Christmas and the temps in January are way below freezing. Right now, we are finally getting some snow. The ski resorts had to close for a couple of weeks. That's how warm it was. They couldn't even MAKE snow.

The weather was lovely this time of the year for us. Last year it was hot, and never cooled off. However, last week for two days it was weird. We live in the desert in the USA. It is always warm, or cooler in the winter. But we hit 17 degrees, and that is outrageous for us. Our home water pipe froze and burst. That was very strange indeed. Now it is back to the usual nice 60's.

Our December was warm as well. The businesses who depend on snow are really hurting even though we have some now and they temps are below zero and they can make snow now they can't recoup what the lost in December. It's very cold this week but up till the end of January we really didn't have enough snow. Thank goodness it came because if we had these temps and no snow the water pipes would be bursting everywhere as they wouldn't have had enough insulation without the snow.

Now a days winter season is decreasing and summer are increasing as it is also interpreted by scientist that sun is dissipating more heat as its nuclear fission is increased and after thousand of years this reaction will stop and there will be dark..think over it towards what we are aheading.

Not crazy in all parts.
In my country, its cool now.
Thats the advantage of living in a tropical place
But its going to be quite hot in the summer with that El Nino happening.

It's very mild in the UK, we haven't had a winter as such. Although it's very wet & windy. 20 years ago we'd have cold frosty mornings with ice on the pavements leading up too Christmas, but we just don't get that any more.
& where I am in South Wales we haven't really had any serious snow in over 20 years, it is definitely changing
