Why American Entertainment(movies) and TV uses abusive indecent language?

I have a great respect for Americans ,their professionalism, their hardworking attitude and their time management. One thing that I am really not able to understand is the use of words like A.. and F... etc.Why what extra does it do to the creativity ,their films will still entertain and make us happy, How does such indecency helps?
