Yup, I am a chatter and I do noticed that yahoo don't seem to have control on its chat rooms 'coz sometimes chatters could get dirty in the rooms and hackers could even hack e-mails through the chat rooms. I thought IP addresses are recorded as what the management says but it does not seem to do anything that could be beneficial to yahoo's customers.

Part of the problem is that we are really NOT customers. We don't pay for anything. Yahoo chat is free, and it's free for everyone.
Of course there are some that do pay for their email, etc. but for the most part Yahoo is free. And as with everything in life, you get what you pay for.
The only way to do anything about it, is to start charging for chat. Then you will probably weed out trouble makers, etc. But you also weed out the people who really can't afford to pay for it.

It surely is getting dirty nowadays. Some people also persorms "SHOWS" there!;( I think yahoo should monitor this kind of malicious mischief. And the bots also, sooo annoying! Yahoo should act and put an end to this..
