Backstabbers, how do you deal with them

How do you guys sort the trouble out if you get left out my friends ? I have lots of friends, but lots of them are just back stabbers, talk bad about you behind your back. How do you deal with them ?

if your positive that they have been "back stabbing" you and you heard or saw it yourself then you should just cut them out of your life. they are not friends.
if you've only heard about them backstabbing you from others...becareful the one telling you might be your biggest problem.
but honestly, if you feel betrayed by someone you thought was a friend, then you should just stop considering them a friend at all.
it isnt worth the worry, the hurt, or the suspicion...just get rid of them and move on.
