How do you developed your sketching ability? is it inborn or you just woke up one day and you find yourself holding a pencil & doing some sketches? What's the common subject that you sketch? Or you only do skethings when you're inspired and feel like doing it?

No, I don't think that sketching or drawing is an inborn talent. Coz you can learn how to sketch or how to draw. What is actually needed is real interest and real devotion to the craft. The most important ability you need in sketching is your ability to interest and desire. I have been sketching since I was little. I love to sketch and draw. I never believed I was any good. But I realized now that everything can be learned, there are techniques that can be acquired to draw and imitate an object in paper. I have attended classes and read books and practices sketching until now. I believe that with the right attitude, nothing can not be learned.

I think to be able to sketch is such a glorious gift, I would love to be able to sit down and sketch, I would especially like to be able to do quick sketches of peoples faces, to make people happy by doing life like sketches would be wonderful but unfortunately the gift was not given to me...I hope you have been given this gift.
