what is right for the U.S. to launch a nuclear stike on Japan?

some people say that the nuclear strike on japan help end the war and in effect saved the lives, others still say that there is nothing that could justify a nuclear strike especially if it could harm innocent civilians.

i think there are several reason for the US nuclear strike.first,japan rejected to surrender in the end of ww2 after german.second,the US wanna take a revenge for the pearl harbour incident which killed many american lives.third,the US needed to make a threat to other countries which were potential enemies such as russia by the power of nuclear bomb in order to build a comparatively peaceful world after war.
