you rightly said, it constructs or destructs the person, bcoz what i think in love we are emotionally involved and we don't see what is wrong or right. As Love speaks from heart and by ignoring our most important part @The Brain, we lose control and fall prey to the players in this field. In my opinion Love is a sweet thing, so handle with care.
