All about 3d model creation

I'm not so much experienced in this section. I've little knowledge about the 3d model creation. I'm currently using Bryce, Canoma, Poser. If any of you want to share your knowledge pls replay.

Yeah Bryce is ok if you plan to create plain shapes and lightning effects but when you work with the real material it is not quite satisfying becouse some images after that looks like it was drawn in 2D.
Poser is nice if you want to create 3D characters. For 3D images you could also use other popular softwares like Rhinoceros 3D, 3DS Max, Maya, Autocad, bCad etc.
